In
the second year we experience more of the Greek genius, reading
Homer's Odyssey and Sophocles' Oedipus Tyrannos or
Euripides' Medea. We also make use of the astonishing Perseus
Project, an interactive CD-ROM computer system enabling students
to explore Greek literature and civilization at levels formerly
available only to college professors.
Some of our Greek students also take accelerated first and second
year Latin as a natural sequel to the second or third year levels
of Greek, just as some of our Latin students take acelerated first
and second year Greek as seniors.
